The Triratna is symbolized frequently in art as a trident. With the three elements, one of the three cannot exist exclusive of the others, and all are required for spiritual liberation. The three jewels of Jainism are the three core values to uphold on the path to an enlightened soul.

The Three Jewels of Jainism

01. Right faith. (Samyag Darsana).

Avoiding preconceptions and superstitions that get in the way of seeing clearly, be determined to find the truth, and distinguish it from untruth.

02. Right knowledge (Samyag Jnana).

Having a soul that is free from attachment and desire and the right knowledge will naturally free you from attachment and desire, and so allow you to achieve peace of mind.

03. Right action. (Samyag Caritra).
